Pop-up store by Paraguayan designer Camila Orué

The Embassy of Paraguay in Japan will hold a pop-up store by Paraguayan designer Camila Orué. She has been noted in the field of sustainable fashion in Latin America, offering contemporary designs while supporting artisans who produce cloth in the traditional way in Paraguay, handed down from generation to generation. We respect technology and value cultural, social and environmental sustainability.

The pop-up store will also introduce two traditional Paraguayan embroidered accessories, “Ñanduti” and “Ao Po’i”. These accessories are crafted by Japanese artisans and are a great addition to Camila Orué's designs.

We hope that you will enjoy this unique experience so that you can learn about the new charms of Paraguay.

The works on display are created by artists:

Ancestral, Japan Ñanduti Association, Purahéi Soul, Maria Liz Aquino art gallery, Mijita Ao po'i, Wadamam Science.
